This workshop will feature the Connecticut Childbirth & Women's Center, a nationally accredited and state-licensed birth center established in 1997. It is Connecticut's first free-standing birth center, and it is owned by an obstetrician. All care is provided by certified nurse-midwives who are experts in care for healthy women experiencing normal pregnancies.

August 10-11, 2012 ~ St. Paul, Minnesota (Students Only)
This workshop will feature the Health Foundations Family Health and Birth Center of St. Paul. The birth center is nationally accredited and state licensed, and it is owned by naturopathic doctors. Health Foundations, a full scope midwivery practice, is the Twin Cities' first free-standing birth center.
This workshop will also showcase the Morning Star Women's Health and Birth Center in St. Louis Park. This birth center is nationally accredited and state licensed, and it is staffed by CNMs and CPMs. Morning Star has another location in Menomonie, WI.

This workshop will showcase Breath of Life Women's Health & Birth Center, a state licensed birth center staffed by certified nurse-midwives. Breath of Life, established in 2007, is currently in the process of becoming nationally accredited.
Additionally, this workshop will feature Labor of Love Birth Center in Dunedin. This center, owned by a licensed midwife, is in the process of becoming nationally accredited. Labor of Love has another location in Lakeland, FL.
