
AABC selects distinguished and experienced speakers to present at the Practical Techniques conference. From birth center midwives to area doulas and accomplished chiropractors, our faculty are sure to impress.
In addition to other faculty, this year's conferences will feature:
Dr. Mara Tabares, DC - Dr. Mara has been a practicing Chiropractor for 13 years; she cares for families at all stages, including pregnant moms during pre-conception, while pregnant, in-labor, and in the postpartum period. Dr. Mara will be presenting on Optimal Fetal Positioning at the Connecticut workshop.
Jennifer Stevens, RN, CNM, MS – With 9 years of experience as a nurse-midwife and prior experience as a critical care nurse, Jennifer Stevens is extremely well-versed in fetal evaluation, electronic monitoring of patients, prioritizing information gained from monitoring, and an understanding of the strengths and limitations of electronic monitoring. She is now the administrative director of the Reading Birth & Women’s Center.
