Ashton Osborne, RN, BSN
Ashton earned her bachelor’s in Nursing at Southern Adventist University in May 2009. She is currently in pursuit of her Master’s degree in Nursing Education from Walden University, and is expected to graduate in 2017. She has one son, Johnathon, who taught her first-hand about breastfeeding pitfalls. During her employment at the Charleston Birth Place, where she has worked with mothers and babies for 5 years, she has discovered that breastfeeding pitfalls are common, and can hinder the breastfeeding experience without guidance, support, and the proper education. She is dedicated to holistic nursing and developing evidence-based methods to improve the lives and health of her patients.
