Do you have new staff who need to learn more about using the PDR? Staff who need a refresher? Just getting started with using the PDR in your birth center? Join Susan Stapleton and Jennifer Wright for a hands-on training webinar. We will discuss setting up your system to assure accurate and complete data entry, navigating the PDR, saving and accessing partially completed records, and data quality assurance. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions that have come up in your birth center about the PDR.

Susan Stapleton, DNP, CNM

Susan Stapleton, DNP, CNM
Susan Stapleton is founder and former director of Reading Birth & Women’s Center where she attended birth center, hospital and home births for 25-years. She is currently chair of the American Association of Birth Centers’ Research Committee and Data Coordinator for the AABC Strong Start for Mothers & Newborns Initiative. Susan was co-investigator for one, and primary investigator for a second, national prospective, multi-center studies of outcomes in freestanding birth centers in the United States. She has worked with the AABC Perinatal Data Registry since its inception in 2007.

Jennifer Wright, MA

Jennifer Wright, MA
Jennifer Wright is currently the Research Associate for the AABC Strong Start for Mothers & Newborns Initiative and has worked with the AABC Perinatal Data Registry since 2010. She has more than ten years work experience in international, national, and community-based nonprofit and private sector environments. Jennifer earned her master’s degree in sustainable international development from The Heller School for Social Policy & Management, Brandeis University with a concentration in the rights-based approach to development and practicum focus in evaluation. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in anthropology.
