"How to Start a Birth Center Workshop" - This workshop explores the processes for establishing a birth center. An on-site workshop offers the dual benefit of convenience and customization to meet your needs. The primary faculty for an on-site workshop would be Eunice K. M. Ernst, CNM, MPH. Ms. Ernst is a frequent consultant to birth centers and has over 30 years of experience in the development of the birth center concept. The workshop will cover topics such as feasibility, management, operations and evaluation. The workshop can be tailored to meet the needs of your site.
The fee for an on-site workshop is $3,500 plus expenses plus $100/participant for the workshop manual. With as few as four participants you will realize the cost savings of an on-site workshop plus you will benefit from a workshop customized to your needs.
AABC Consultation is provided by a collection of experienced birth center members who will provide consultation services ranging from assistance in preparing a certificate to need to site selection to staff preparation to complete turnkey responsibility.
