2. Serve on an AABC Committee in 2021

Apply by November 5, 2020

You may have heard AABC described as a "small but mighty" organization, but do you know where we gain our strength? It's our member volunteers! AABC has a small staff; and it is because of our members that we are able to accomplish so much.

In 2020, more than 50 members volunteered on AABC committees and task forces. The variety of expertise and experience these members contribute to the organization through committee work is so valuable.

Would you like to become more involved in AABC by joining a committee? Now is the time to apply. Committee terms are for one year and in the fall members can apply to serve on a committee for the following year. New and continuing committee members are asked to complete an application.

AABC is a membership organization and our strength comes from our volunteer members!

3. Simpler PPP Forgiveness for Loans of $50K or Less

The U.S. Small Business Administration, in consultation with the Treasury Department, has released a simpler loan forgiveness application for Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans of $50,000 or less. This action streamlines the PPP forgiveness process to provide financial and administrative relief to America’s smallest businesses.

The SBA and Treasury have also eased the burden on PPP lenders, allowing lenders to process forgiveness applications more swiftly.
