IRC Office Hours - Beyond Global Maternity Care
Preparing for the 2027 Shift to Fee-for-Service
Preparing for the 2027 Shift to Fee-for-Service
What the end of global billing means for your contracts, coding, and revenue strategy
As we move toward the elimination of global maternity care billing in 2027, practices must begin preparing now. This session will explore what a transition to fee-for-service may mean operationally and financially – especially for contracts tied to specific CPT codes and global package assumptions.
We’ll discuss how payer agreements may be impacted, how to evaluate contract language that references bundled services, and what proactive steps you can take while information continues to unfold. The goal is not panic – it’s preparation. Join us to ensure your contracts and coding strategies are ready for the road ahead.
AABC membership is required for IRC Office Hours. Registration is free and open to all AABC members.
