Registration Fees

The Community Birth Assistant Training is available in two distinct packages depending on whether a birth center enrolls or an individual enrolls.

Individual Learners
  • $700 - AABC Members<
  • $750 - Non-Members (includes an Individual membership)
Training in a Box

Exclusively for AABC Birth Center (Developing + Established) and AMU Members

  • $550 - one time start-up fee

  • $450 - for each birth center team member you enroll

Diversity and Inclusion Scholarships

AABC is invested in expanding access to our courses. Our Diversity + Inclusion Scholarships are available to Members of the Global Majority, LGBTQIA+ folks, and people with disabilities. Scholarships are available for our in-person and online HSBC workshop.

Refund Policy

To be eligible for a refund, the learner must not have launched the course. A 15% processing fee will be deducted from each refund.  No refunds will be given once a course has been launched.

Course Extension Policy

Please enroll only when you are ready to begin as this training is non-refundable once you launch the course.  Students have six months to complete the didactic portion and must complete all course requirements within one year.  Students can extend this by six months by submitting a written request (a $100 fee applies).

Skills Assessment Fee

When the online course is complete and you are ready to have your skills assessed by the AABC skills faculty, you will be invoiced $150 for the skills assessment.
