Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)

Full-Time | $80,000-$95,000

Guiding Star Tampa Bay Birth & Wellness Center is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join our growing nonprofit birth center practice. We provide life-affirming, holistic care for women and families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, fertility, gynecologic, and well-woman services.

Responsibilities

• Provide prenatal, birth, postpartum, newborn, gynecologic, and well-woman care
• Attend births in our free-standing birth center
• Provide newborn care through 28 days of life
• Educate and support patients throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum
• Participate in shared call coverage
• Maintain accurate medical records

Schedule:

• 4-6 office days per month
• 8-10 call shifts per month
• Primarily 24-hour home call
• Rotating holiday coverage
• Qualifications

Required:

• Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
• Active Florida license
• NRP and BLS certifications
• Strong communication skills
• Commitment to patient-centered, life-affirming care

Preferred:

• 2+ years of midwifery experience
• Out-of-hospital birth experience
• Fertility awareness and/or limited ultrasound experience
