IRC Office Hours - How Do I Bill for That?
Smart Billing for Non-Covered Services
Understanding when – and how – to bill patients for non-covered services is essential to both financial sustainability and regulatory compliance. Join IRC leaders Carla Morrow, Nancy Koerber, and Marnie Cabezas for this interactive office hours session as we break down the foundational rules governing patient billing. We will explore how requirements vary by state, what documentation is required to confirm billability, and how to avoid common compliance pitfalls.
This session will provide practical tools to help you create accurate, legally sound out-of-pocket estimates to ensure transparency for patients and protection for your birth center.
AABC membership is required for IRC Office Hours. Registration is free and open to all AABC members.
