Alaska - CNM/Nurse Practitioner

We’re searching for a CNM whose care philosophy supports birth center and hospital birth and has a strong interest in women’s health care. Additional experience in functional medicine, menopause, endocrinology, mental health, or fertility a plus!

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s of science in nursing from accredited nurse practitioner program
• Experience with EHR/EMR
• Prescriptive authority
• Valid license in current state of employment
• Valid Board Certification in Nurse Midwifery
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to client centered care

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Call coverage with an emphasis on hospital birth.
• Provide preconception, antenatal, postnatal, and well woman care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate and timely client records and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Attend office, midwife, birth center and chart review meetings.
• In clinic care of clients on call days as needed.
