Texas - Birth Center CNM - FT/PT
Nativiti is a free-standing birth center in The Woodlands, Texas, a beautiful suburb on the north side of Houston. We are the longest continuously running birth center in the Greater Houston area and have welcomed almost 3000 babies since 1995.
We are looking to hire one full time, or two part time Certified Nurse Midwives at our growing practice. If you love being part of a team that feels like family AND it is your passion to support physiologic labor and birth in an out of hospital setting (birth center and home birth), then this may be the place for you.
- Birth Volume: 18-24 births per month average
- Clinic Volume: 6-12 clients per day
- Clinic Schedule: Mon-Thurs with some Fridays as client load dictates.
Responsibilities:
- Provide full scope midwifery care including, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn, preconception, contraception, & gynecology.
- Collaborate respectfully with other types of providers for consultation, referral and transfer when necessary.
- Provide evidence-based, client-centered, compassionate care that aligns with the midwifery model of care in supporting physiologic birth and shared decision-making.
- Work respectfully with our team of CNMs, CPMs, RNs, and support staff.
- Appropriately assess client's eligibility for birth center care.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and quality assurance.

Requirements:
- One (1) year of out of hospital experience as RN or midwife preferred.
- Graduation from accredited program for MSN/CNM
- Certification from AMCB
- Unencumbered APRN license to practice in Texas with Prescriptive Authority privileges upon employment (or in process)
- Current CPR and NRP certification
- Live within 20 min of birth center (or arrangements to stay close during call)
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
Salary: FT $85,000 plus (depending on experience)
