Breath of Life Women's Health & Birth Center provides full scope nurse-midwifery services including gynecological and maternity health care with a focus on natural childbirth including waterbirth. Since 2007 Breath of Life in Largo, Florida, has cared for over 1,800 women and families with over 2,200 babies joyfully welcomed in its beautiful, nationally-accredited birth center. We are a non-profit with a staff of 15.

This is a salaried position based on a 40-hour work week. Being present during operational hours is required and may occasionally need to work longer hours.

Salary: From $65,000/year

● Hires, trains, supervises and evaluates administrative staff.
● Onboards all staff and runs payroll
● Acts as the liaison between staff and benefits providers
● Maintains the HR platform, including Employee Handbook
● Oversees front office staff performance metrics, activities and patient collections processes.
● Works with executives and the Board of Directors to set goals, objectives, and budgets.
● Participates in the oversight of all financial operations
● Is the liaison between the medical billing company and patient billing and refunds
● Manages accounts payable
● With the Executive Director, develops and maintains the approved budget
● Oversees and approves maintenance and repairs
● Participates in the CABC re-accreditation process
● Ensures that all business licenses requirements are in place
● Performs all provider credentialing activities
● Maintains business and medical malpractice insurance.
● Ensures that regulations, guidelines, and standards are followed
● A bachelor’s or master's degree in healthcare management, business, or a related degree is required.
● A minimum of 2 years medical office management required
