Pennsylvania - Staff Nurse-Midwife, Full Time

Reading Midwife Center for Women’s Wellness, LLC, is a private nurse-midwifery practice which was established in 2020. It has been a free-standing accredited birth center since 1984. The practice provides full-scope midwifery care; attending births in a freestanding birth center, a Level III hospital and at home. We also provide GYN/Well woman care. We currently have two full-time midwives who are also the owners. We have a part-time midwife but are looking to expand the part-time position into a full-time position. We would prefer an experienced midwife, but we would consider a new graduate with labor and birth experience, or to consider for a 1 year CNM internship.

Anticipated schedule to be 2.5 office days a week, 2-3 call shifts a week and every 3rd weekend on-call. We have an excellent relationship with an experienced OB who fully supports midwives and the birth center model of care. We also have good working relationships with our local hospital in which we provide continuation of services should our clients transfer.
