Come work in the beautiful western Garden city of Missoula, Montana. We are the only freestanding accredited Birth center in Montana, attending 50-60 births annually. Looking for a CNM with at least 1 year of experience to join another CNM in a full scope midwifery practice. CNMs have hospital privileges for intrapartum transfers and inductions. A collaborative relationship with an MFM/MD team is available for referrals and consultations. Work schedule is 2 clinic days per week. Call schedule is congruent with clinic days plus every other weekend. Schedule is based on 50/50 split of call and clinic with one other CNM.
We are looking for a CNM who possesses the passion to be a midwife and will go the extra mile to keep connected with clients on an as-needed basis; is a team player; is a hard worker; possess good communication skills; and keeps current regarding evidence based practice.
The following expectations are needed to function independently:
- Eligible or current licensure as an APRN-CNM in Montana
- Current NRP and BLS certifications
- Experience with birthing techniques
- Exposure to water births
- Gynecologic skills: pap smears, IUDs, and Nexplanon insertion and removal
- IV starts and venipuncture experience
- Basic ultrasound skills
- New grads will be considered but experience will be a bonus
- Experience with or at least knowledgeable of obstetric emergency management

The current offer includes taking over a Birth Center that has been successful for 12 years. All you need is start-up capital.
