El Rio Midwifery is recruiting for full scope, full time midwives! 

If you ask an El Rio Midwife what she loves about her job, she is likely to respond "our patients" and "the midwives I work with". Established in 1976, El Rio Midwifery is Southern Arizona's largest midwifery practice (20 midwives and counting!). We are an integrated part of El Rio Health, a federally qualified health center with 13 sites in the Tucson area. El Rio Midwives enjoy autonomy of practice, excellent collegial relationships and administrative support for our model of care. Full time midwives sustain the longevity of their practice with 40 hour work weeks. Births are attended in a tertiary care hospital which includes an accredited Alongside Midwifery Unit. Tucson is home to the University of Arizona, Davis Monthan Air Force base and a diverse population of one million sun loving people.
