The Birthing Inn is Tacoma's premier freestanding birth center committed to providing personalized, compassionate care centered around physiological birth in its welcoming and boutique surroundings.
We seek a dedicated, compassionate, and professional individual to serve as the “Inn Keeper”, blending hospitality, client support, and birth world expertise. The ideal candidate will bring luxury brand sales experience, exceptional customer service skills, and a genuine passion for supporting women through their birthing journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the birth center, providing administrative support with a focus on providing exceptional guest experiences that reflect the unique and upscale nature of the establishment.
- Provide front desk support, welcoming and assisting clients, visitors, and staff with warmth and professionalism
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering personalized support and guidance
- Serve as a liaison between clients and practitioners, ensuring clients’ needs are met with care and discretion
Qualifications and Experiences:
- Proven experience in luxury brand sales and high-end customer service
- Background in boutique storefront or front desk roles in a service-oriented environment
- Broad knowledge of physiological birth and birth options
- Prior experience as a doula, birth assistant, or in a related role in the birth community is a strong plus
- Reliable, loyal, caring, and dedicated to supporting women through their birthing experiences
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and empathy
